The game is a compact version of Catan without a board, just cards. The game is very entertaining and gives the same feeling as playing the classic Catan. On your turn, you roll two dice, and only the white die grants resources. If you roll a 7, you steal a resource from another player. Instead of roads, there are harbors where you advance your token, and if it’s in front, you gain a point and can make 2:1 or 3:1 trades. When you pay for a settlement, you can place another production card; when you have a certain number of production cards, you gain points. With each settlement, you gain another die to roll. With production cards, you gain knights, which allow you to move the robber, and if you have more knights than the other players, you gain points. Overall, it’s an alternate, pocket-sized version of the original Catan.
